BEEMA – STAR OF THE MONTH
Beema Shankar is a 6 year child living in Doddakammanahalli Community having a younger sibling Pawan who is also studying in our bridge program. They lost their mother a year ago and they are under the care of guardians .When he joined the program, he was non-cooperative, timid and arrogant. He didn’t want to listen or co-operate or learn anything. But gradually he has been improving due to the personal care and attention of our facilitators and during these past 4 months, he started cooperating very well and being focussed at his work. On his own, he started helping his friends also to learn. The concept of peer teaching emerged on his own at his young age. He is a very honest child and very much passionate at work that he does. We are proud to be a part of his holistic development.
