The Dutch Financial Alternatives Community raises almost €20,000 to provide Alternatives for Children
On the 30th of May over 130 professionals from the Dutch financial alternatives community came together to show their support for the fund raising initiative of the Alternatives 4 Children foundation. During a special Spring Party Event at the SupperClub Cruise Boat, the foundation raised almost €20,000 after costs. Since inception, the total amount being raised is over € 250,000.
This support will enable Alternatives 4 Children to contribute to the running costs of different small projects, such as a slum school in Bangalore, or a school community in Kamitei (Tanzania).
During the foundation’s Spring Event over 130 professionals from the Dutch financial alternatives community celebrated Spring, caught up with each other, and donated almost €20,000 by buying entry and lottery tickets. By raising over € 250,000 since inception in 2010, the alternative investment industry shows that they can be a force for good.
The volunteers and management team of Alternatives 4 Children would like to thank all the participants of this Spring Party, the sponsors and donors for being so generous.

The next event which Alternatives 4 Children organizes for the Dutch financial alternatives community is the gala dinner on October 3rd in Sofitel The Grand in Amsterdam.
